A Gentle (re)Introduction to Object Oriented Programming
Some of us may be completely new to the concepts and principles of Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Many others have been programming in an object oriented language such as Java or C# for years, or have taken courses in these topics, but still find it confusing.
In this session, we will give hands on coding examples of the 4 key principles of object oriented programming, (1) encapsulation, (2) abstraction, (3) polymorphism and (4) inheritance. We will explain their proper use, while motivating the discussion with practical real world examples and use cases.
